TIP: Ombré effect
After 5 minutes, remove the henna from the head (start) of the brow with a Cotton Swab damped in Rose Water. This lightens the front of the brow for a softer look. Let the henna on the middle and tail continue developing for an additional 10-15
minutes allowing these areas to darken for more definition. After the full time, remove the henna from the rest of the brow, revealing a soft, natural ombré gradient from light to dark.
Why is performing a patch test important?
A patch test, or also called allergy test, is a method to check whether a beauty product or ingredient provokes an allergy on your skin. A Brow Henna treatment uses Henna, and this contains ingredient PPD. Despite the fact that KYRO's Brow
Henna is designed on as natural a basis as possible, in rare cases a nasty (contact) allergy can still occur. Such as highly irritated skin and sometimes even blisters. By conducting a patch test, you can rule this out. Are you allergic to PPD? Then, unfortunately, you cannot use Brow Henna. So it is very important to do a patch test, don't skip this step!
How to perform the patch test?
You perform the patch test at least 72 hours prior to your Brow henna treatment. Why? It can take up to 48 hours for an (allergic) reaction to develop.
No guarantee for the future
However, a patch test is no guarantee against allergies in the future. You may still become allergic to a certain substance. For example, if you do the Brow Henna treatment too often. For this reason, we recommend not having it done more
often than every six weeks.
When should you not perform a Brow Henna treatment?
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
It is not recommended to apply a Brow Henna treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
It certainly cannot harm the unborn child. Because of the hormones, there is an increased risk of an allergic reaction or the result not turning out as desired. If one gets an allergic reaction, medication such as hormone ointments
or antibiotics may be required. Unfortunately, this is not a nice combination with pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Restless skin
Do you have irritated skin, wounds or acne around the eyebrows? Then we do not recommend the Brow Henna treatment. Unfortunately, your skin will be more susceptible to an allergic reaction.
Just before a sun holiday
After a Brow Henna treatment, you should avoid the sun, and tanning beds for 48 hours. Sun on Henna Brows can trigger an allergy. The advice is to avoid going into direct sunlight when you have just had your Brow Henna treatment. During these 48 hours, you should protect your brows by staying in the shade. After the 48 hours, you can oil your eyebrows with spf to protect them, this may cause them
to fade faster though.
What if you have an allergic reaction?
Don't panic. Do you have a doubt? Consult your GP, probably hormone ointment or cream will be prescribed. Hope you get rid of the symptoms soon, unfortunately you won't be able to undergo any more Brow Henna treatment.
Brow Henna is one of the most gentle and effective ways to tint eyebrows. The advantage of
Henna is that both the eyebrow hairs and skin are colored, so we can create beautiful, full brows. The Henna is visible for 6 - 9 weeks on the hair and about 5 - 10 days on the skin (depending on skin type).
The Brow Henna treatment is a very simple method, you can make this work pretty lady! You’ll need to mix the Henna capsule with rose water, into a honey-like jelly substance. The next step is to bring the tint on to your brows a brush and let the soaking time process. Your brows will look flawless!
Yes, of course we have! Watch it here.
Yes of course, our products are cruelty free as we love our furry friends. We can validate the safety or our products and ingredients, we have tested them extensively.
The Henna is visible for 6 - 9 weeks on the hair and about 5 - 10 days on the skin. This depends on the skin type and the growth phase of your brows. Once you have tried the Brow Henna treatment, you’ll be hooked for life.
Yes, pretty lady you can do it! The KYRO Brow Henna is of the purest form, meaning no ammonia, no lead and no harmful chemicals. It is also Cruelty Free and free of parabens. Just follow the instructions (and video) carefully, and you'll get
a beautiful result. Check some results and reviews from our customers, if they can you can!
Tinting enhances your natural brows, providing a more authentic
appearance without the marks or smudges that make-up can leave. With tinting, you'll need less makeup, helping you feel naturally beautiful and giving you a more youthful look. And over time, eyebrows can lighten due to aging and sun exposure, but tinting helps refresh and rejuvenate their appearance.
This is the most frequently asked question. We advise you to use our color chart, on which each tint is explained which hair color it
matches.
To ensure the tint absorbs well into your eyebrow hairs, make sure your brows are completely clean and free of oil. Use a cleanser to wash your brows and the skin around it. Make sure your brows are completely dry before applying Brow Henna.
This is an individual matter - depending on your natural eyebrow color and skin. We suggest anytime between 15 - 20 minutes. About 15 minutes it will deliver a daring but still natural look. We advise first
timers to leave in for the shortest time. This way, if the color turns out
lighter than you thought, you’ll still have the option to go darker ;) For
those who want something more daring, it is safe to leave it on for up to 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, pretty lady you’ll need to choose which treatment you prefer! Brow Henna and Brow Lift cannot be combined, as the lotions used in lamination can strip
the color from the brow hairs. Additionally, applying too many potent products to the skin at once may increase the risk of an allergic reaction, which we want to avoid. However, you can safely opt for both Brow Henna and Brow
Lift again after 6 - 9 weeks.
Yes, you will also tint the skin of your eyebrows. We have a tip for you to prevent the skin around your eyebrows getting tinted; apply Vaseline but be careful not to touch the eyebrow hairs themselves. If some tint does get on your skin, don't worry; it can be washed off easily. Using a facial scrub can
help remove it more quickly.
Tinting offers benefits beyond just color, adding tone and gloss to your
brows. Many clients using Brow Henna find that they use little to no make-up on their eyebrows after tinting. Tinted eyebrows enhance natural beauty and create the appearance of fuller, more youthful brows. Even naturally dark brows become more defined with tinting.
Tinting gray hair can be a challenge. Grey hair is drier and brittle, causing the tint to take longer to absorb. While we encourage you to give it a
try, results may vary among clients. Additionally, darker colors will be more effective than lighter ones.
Please note: If your brow color is darker than the chosen tint, the difference may not be very noticeable. For optimal results, select a tint that matches your current brow color and avoid choosing a lighter tint.
We understand, unfortunately not everyone has naturally thick brows! Tinting your eyebrow hairs can darken them and give your brows more definition. Some clients
choose to leave some tint on the skin for a fuller effect.
Tinting with Brow Henna can only darken your eyebrow hairs or maintain your current color.
Yes, you can definitely use our Brow Henna kit when you have (S)PMU brows! Pay attention: you only may use Brow Henna when your healing
period of your (S)PMU treatment is over.
We advise you to not use Brow Henna when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. While it certainly won't harm the unborn child, the hormones that are present during these times increase the risk
of an (allergic) reaction or the chance that the result may not turn out as desired.
The KYRO Brow Henna kit is specially developed for the sensitive skin, we use the softest ingredients so that it’s safe for sensitive skin and brows. It will make your brows feel like they're
wrapped in a cloud of softness.
The fabulous look of a Brow Henna lasts 6 - 9 weeks, depending on the growth phase of your own beautiful brows. Is the result gone within this time period? Then you can tint your brows again with Brow Henna. Don’t do it more often, because you can develop an allergy.
Our Brow Henna kit is safe for most people. But we recommend doing a patch test (at least 72 hours) prior to the treatment, to check if you don’t get an (allergic) reaction.
Sorry, but no not directly. Water and steam are off-limits for the first 24 hours after your treatment. The brows need some time to settle in, before you can jump back into your mermaid ways.
Yes, you can still use your normal
skincare products after getting a Brow Henna treatment. Just make sure to avoid the brow area for the first 24 hours.
When you order the KYRO Brow Henna Kit you get everything you need for 4 treatments.
The Kit includes:
One kit includes products for 4 treatments, and each treatment lasts around 6 - 9 weeks. So you'll need to repurchase a kit after around 6 - 9 months.
The average salon Brow Henna treatment costs € 47,50. The KYRO Brow Henna Kit is just € 69,95. If you would do your brows every 6 weeks that’d be around 9 times per year. Which means you would save € 350,- per year! Imagine what you can do with all that money.
